Skating Vancouver Social Extravaganza
Meet people who love the sport of
Inline Skating (rollerblading). A group of bladers' (the bigger the
better) will meet at a location and go rollerblading for 2-3 hours or
whatever time frame the group decides upon. This is a great social event
for staying fit and getting hands-on tips.
Date:
Saturday. To be announced. In case of rain or wet pavement, the event
will be re-scheduled.
Time:
10 a.m. Meet at Bikes 'N Blades Rental Ltd. - 718
Denman Street. Phone: 604-602-9899
Place:
Roller blade around Stanley Park.
Cost:
Only $2.00 (2 for 1 - Simply bring a friend and get in FREE) You
are responsible for all rental details. Rental is not included.
You need:
Helmet (use your biking helmet or rent it), skates, elbow, wrist &
knee pads. A waiver must be signed.

is in good condition, and should possess and master a set of
minimum skate skills before participating
in such events: the ability to skate in control, especially
on hills and in groups of skaters;
